| The focus of this course is on building coaching skills and coaching perspectives including: understanding the worldview of the profession, coaching-related listening skills, creation and evolution of the coaching alliance, balance work, perspective work, powerful questions, and information about the coaching profession. This course is a practical guide to building a private coaching practice. Whether participants are at the beginning of this process or have already been in private practice for years, they will be able to take their understanding of this process to the next level. Through hands-on experiential learning, a wide range of networking and marketing techniques will be explored, allowing participants to discover which fit best for them as individuals. Participants will also design their "ideal practice", including setting fees, number of clients, and weekly schedules. Each participant's unique traits as a coach will be explored along with ways to use those unique traits to develop specialty niches in practice. By the end of this course, participants will have an action plan in place to implement moving forward.
